Accountability

I would like to bring my family and friends into an accountability contract with me. I would like to start studying the bible in the morning and spending daily alone time with God. Our pastor said yesterday that he will guarantee a closer relationship with God if you will commit to spending time alone with Him. I took that challenge. My goal is to wake up before everyone and study in the dining room. I hope that I can encourage you to do the same, and to really evaluate how much time you do spend with Him. As our 2009 Christmas card stated, we are at war, what are you going to do to protect yourselves?

  1. AHH doesn't January seem like a great time to start new things! I have two "resolutions," one relating to this!

    1] Daniel and I are reading the entire bible, chronilogically in one year. That way, we're kind of obligated to get into the word everyday, or we wont finish on time!

    2] Finally lose this weight. Although it's not in our immediated future, a wedding is coming somedayyyyyy and I wanna be a hot bride! Haha but i think my body type is just naturally heavyset - I was born short and fat, haha. But that doesnt mean I can't change it now. So, I am a bet with my mom, daniels mom, and two friends. We all put in $50, and whoever has lost the biggest percentage of weight at the end of six months, wins! Overall, I want to lose 50bs, but I don't think i can lost that much, healthily, in 6 months. So, my real goal is just to make my lifestyle better. I am working out at least 3x per week as hard as I can, and I am eating much better. With my schedule, this is hard to do, but I feel an improvement already.

    BUT you said you lost 50lbs since Hailey?! That's awesome!!! Help meee! Haha Any more advice/work outs/anything you've seen work for you, let me know! Everything is SOOO appreciated!!
